Diversity by Design:
The MakePossible Diversity by Design workshop series is part of a project supported by WWEST eng-cite Funding Partners Program and Women’s Enterprise Center Catalyst for Growth Fund. The Diversity by Design project includes resources to support emerging talent and hands-on workshops in communities like Kamloops, Prince George, and Prince Rupert – to develop leadership skills and create awareness for the opportunities for women as a catalyst of growth.
The MakePossible Mentoring Program is well aligned with SCWIST goals to empower women and girls in science, engineering and technology. Over the past 3 years, Cheryl has delivered MakePossible workshops at UBC, SFU, BC Institute of Technology, SFU School for Integrated Arts and Technology, Surrey Community Library, and various SCWIST and industry events.
